I am not departing from my first breed of choice. 
The Redbones will always be the main breed for me.....  

 

The opportunity presented itself for me to have a show quality Basset Hound and I look at it as another great way to share my love of dogs.

 

In the past, I have raised a couple of Bassets but they were strictly companion pets.   Their happy go lucky attitude and those long ears make them hard to resist!
